David studied Philosophy and Languages at Bristol University following which he had a brief and hectic career as a professional musician in the heyday of 'Flower Power'.
He subsequently took up teaching and taught English in Yugoslavia and the Middle East and later in an English Grammar school.
He has a natural artistic talent that is mainly architecturally orientated. He normally uses the medium of pen with a colour wash to interpret the style and tones of many of the local famous buildings in his home city of Canterbury and also those of Provence in his beloved France.
David's work is now much in demand. He has had a number of successful exhibitions and has published a number of limited editions of his work.
David now enjoys life in the slow lane, dividing his time between drawing, playing the violin and looking at crop circles.
